Rebecca believes fiercely in these truths:

You can’t control the chaos. But you can control your energy, your home and your parenting.

You don’t have to wait for closure. You don’t need permission to protect your peace.

You are not just surviving... you are reclaiming your power, one breath, one boundary and one brave choice at a time.

You are not alone in this.

About the Author

Rebecca did not set out to write a book. She set out to survive. Eight weeks after giving birth to her son, born prematurely and discharged from the NICU, Rebecca was blindsided with divorce papers. She had no job, no plan, and no preparation for what would become years of navigating a high-conflict co-parenting dynamic, ongoing legal battles and emotional trauma, cloaked in custody language.

About the Book

This book was born in the trenches. As a mother, Rebecca quickly realized that love alone wasn’t enough to shield her child from the chaos. She needed tools, language, strategy and a new kind of courage. Not just to fight back, but to rise above. Not just to endure courtrooms and conflict, but to create a home full of emotional safety, truth and calm. Escaping the Co-Parenting Trap isn’t a memoir. It is a survival guide, turned empowerment handbook. It is the book she needed when the parenting apps didn’t make sense, when the court language felt cold, when everyone told her to “just be the bigger person”, but no one explained how. This book is for every parent who has questioned their sanity after a toxic exchange, who has been told “it is just co-parenting, how bad can it be?!”, when it feels like psychological warfare, and who realizes the court system does not always see the whole picture, yet you refuse to give up in the process.
